ARE NATUR-A SOY BEVERAGES MADE WITH WHOLE ORGANIC SOYBEANS?

Yes. We use only whole, non-genetically-modified, certified organic soybeans that are grown in Quebec.

ARE NATUR-A PRODUCTS ORGANIC?

Almost all Natur-a products are certified organic by an independent certification organization that is government-recognized and internationally accredited.

WHAT IS ORGANIC FARMING?

Organic farming is a sustainable system of agriculture that maintains the long-term fertility of the soil and uses less of the earth’s non-renewable resources, to produce tastier, healthier food. Organic farming is a balanced system that gives soil, plants and animals the best conditions for development and growth.

 

Organic foods are grown in soil that has been free of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, growth regulators, and other synthetic products for a minimum of 36 months prior to harvest.

HOW IS ORGANIC FOOD DIFFERENT?

We believe that food produced using organic farming methods is healthier. Natur-a organic products are pure and contain no chemicals or artificial additives. Organic food is healthy, nutritious and wholesome.

ARE NATUR-A PRODUCTS ALL-NATURAL?

Absolutely. All our ingredients and flavourings are 100% natural. They contain no animal by-products and are vegetarian- and vegan-friendly.

WHERE DO THE SOYBEANS USED TO MAKE OUR SOY BEVERAGES COME FROM?

The soybeans that we use in Natur-a beverages are grown in Quebec on land that has been certified organic for many years.

ARE NATUR-A PRODUCTS FREE OF GENETICALLY MODIFIED ORGANISMS (GMOs)?

Yes. Natur-a soy, almond and rice beverages are GMO-free. Though the standards for organic soybeans do not allow the use of GMOs, we go above and beyond these requirements by specifically testing and certifying that our products are free of GMOs. (See our accreditations.)

DO NATUR-A BEVERAGES CONTAIN ANY ARTIFICIAL FLAVOURS?

No. Organic certification does not allow the use of any artificial flavours. All the flavours we use are natural, which means that they have been extracted from natural plants. We also ensure that our suppliers do not use any ingredients from genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Moreover, our organic certification does not allow the use of any flavours derived from GMO ingredients.

DO NATUR-A PRODUCTS CONTAIN ANY GLUTEN?

None of our natur-a product contains gluten. We do not use any ingredients that contain gluten, and soybeans, rice and almonds do not contain any gluten naturally.
